Why is social responsibility a precondition for sustainability in event management?

Regional, seasonal purchasing, organic quality for animal welfare, short distances, sustainable partners, venues and caterers - these have been our standards for many years and we no longer work below them. Instead of cheap, we recommend less, but better.

The barrier to entry into sustainable event management is often the supposed complexity of the topic. Browsing through the relevant norms and standards can quickly make you feel dizzy. Yet sustainable action is quite simple.

It all starts with an individual decision:

Do I eat organic or at least regional food myself?
What do I serve my guests?

A concrete example:

Am I willing to pay €1.99 for 10 breakfast eggs from cruel factory farming or am I prepared to pay €2.99 for 10 organic eggs?
How much is it worth to me if the egg product also avoids the killing of male chicks?
Perhaps 3.49?
How do I behave when my extended family is visiting and I bake cakes with eggs for them?
Do I use the most expensive organic eggs, even if there are 30 of them?

Applied to event management:

As a company representative, am I prepared to pay 50 per cent more for sustainable catering?
Or will cheap products be enough for my guests?

As an event agency, we are convinced that we need to become better hosts! That is the beginning.

The result is satisfied guests and therefore more successful event marketing. Sustainability costs more. And because sustainability is expensive in event management, it should also be applied in marketing. Doing good and talking about it is the motto!

We make your event management socially responsible and sustainable!
